About Udwartana
Udwartana is a dry or semi-dry massage using medicated herbal powders such as Triphala, Kolakulathadi and Kulattha, applied with firm upward strokes against the direction of hair growth.
This friction stimulates the lymphatic system and subcutaneous fat, improves circulation and directly addresses Medo Dhatu — making it the classical Ayurvedic therapy for obesity, cellulite and sluggish metabolism.
It is also outstanding for skin quality: patients notice smoother, firmer, brighter skin within a few sessions, without any chemical exfoliation.
